Clarence “Buster” Taylor died Friday, May 23, 2014, after a brief stay at the Spirit Mountain Hospice in Cody. He was 91.

Clarence was born Dec. 8, 1922, to Milton and Ruby Taylor in Mt. Harris, Colo. He married Shirley Joan Cary on Jan 22, 1947. They had three sons, Dan, Sam and Clarence Arnold.

Clarence served with the Signal Corps in the Indo-China Theatre in World War II and then had a lifetime career with Texaco.

He is survived by his wife Shirley of Powell; sons Dan (Ginger) and Sam (Lois); grandchildren Tonya, Dustin and Jim Taylor; and five great-grandchildren, Chase, Ally, Dasyn, Devon and Natalie.

Cremation has taken place, and a family graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, at the Cody Cemetery.

Donations may be made to the Spirit Mountain Hospice.
