Cynthia Yvonne Langseth, 74, died of health complications on Dec. 28, 2013.

She was known best as “Cindy” by her friends and family.   

Cindy was born Cynthia Yvonne Mitchell on March 31, 1939, in Bridgeport, Conn. During her life, she resided in the states of Connecticut, California, Oregon, Wyoming and Minnesota.

Cindy married her husband Edward Langseth in Reno, Nev., and precedes him in death after 53 years of marriage. Cindy was preceded in death by her eldest son Leif Eric Langseth of Kenai, Alaska, her parents, George Mitchell and Eve Michaud Jones, her siblings Doreen Bora of Georgia, George Mitchell of Missouri and Jacqueline Boe of Wisconsin.

Cindy is survived by her husband Edward Langseth of Byron, daughter Laurie Kraft, and grandchildren Kea Fisher and Kade Fisher of Fort Collins, Colo., son Mitchell Langseth and grandchildren Alexander Langseth and Dannielle Langseth of Weston, Wisc.

Cindy was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Lovell. A celebration of life will take place at noon at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lovell on Friday, Jan. 3.
