Lon Herbert Beck, 52, died at his residence in Thermopolis on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012.
Born Oct. 5, 1960 in Wheatland, Lon was one of four children born to Gary and Doris (Austin) Beck. As his father was an electrician, the family lived in various states.
In the late 1980s, Lon married Sherri Andreen. The couple later divorced.
Lon moved from Casper to Thermopolis in 1994 where he was employed by Big Horn Enterprises until the time of his death. An electrician/maintenance employee, he also frequently served the Big Horn Enterprises Group Home and Office in Powell.
He was a Trustee in the Eagles Lodge No. 1884. His interests were hunting, camping and fishing daily.
Survivors include his sons Leo Sanchez and Lon Tyler Beck, both of Cheyenne; sisters Candy Beck (Scott) Treanor of Worland and Bonnie Beck (Shaun) Emmett of Cody; and numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Andy Beck.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
A memorial visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Eagles Lodge in Thermopolis.
Cremation has taken place.
