The Powell Panthers football team will play its first home game of the season Friday night, the culmination of Homecoming week at Powell High School.
It will be the first time the team plays at Panther Stadium following the death of coach Jim Stringer. The defending three-time class 3A champions are undefeated in 3A play this season. The Panthers take on Riverton at 7 p.m. Friday.

Today (Tuesday), the junior varsity tennis teams take on Cody at 4 p.m. The girls swimming team hosts Worland at 5 p.m. Thursday. Also that night, PHS volleyball players battle against Cody at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
The varsity tennis team hosts Sheridan at 2 p.m. Friday and Gillette at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Prior to the varsity football game on Friday, the freshman football team plays Riverton at 3:30 p.m.
Homecoming week also includes a variety of events for students. They had a movie night at the American Dream Drive-in Monday night, will play buff puff volleyball at 7 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) and compete in the Homecoming Olympics at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
