BASIN —The University of Wyoming Extension office will offer two free Design Your Outdoor Space classes with expert Jenny Thompson, the small acreage outreach coordinator for the University of Wyoming Extension. The 90-minute classes will be held on Friday, May 17, at the Lovell Library from 10-11:30 a.m. and Greybull Library from 5:30-7 p.m.
Through before-and-after photos, students will learn how to create functional and balanced landscape designs based on their current lifestyle needs for their property. Ms. Thompson will discuss soils, light, plant selection and placement, materials and site analysis, among other topics. Students will also have the opportunity to draft ideas for their properties and to receive feedback.
The class space is limited, so call the UW Extension office at 307-568-4160, or email bighornc@uwyo.edu to sign up today.
