ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Northwest Rural Water District in Cody, Wyoming (“Owner”) will receive sealed bids from experienced, qualified, and capable contractors for the construction of the NRWD O’Donnell/Garland/North End Capacity Improvements Project. The scope and purpose for the Project is generally described as follows:
​The Base Bid includes the installation of three (3) new ±35,000-gallon fiberglass underground potable water storage tanks; ±460 LF of 10” DR18 C900 PVC water main and drain piping; ±200 LF of 6” DR18 C900 PVC tank yard supply, bypass, overflow, and drain piping; various water system appurtenances; site grading; wire fence; outfall structures; electrical and control system improvements.
Bid Alternate 1 includes ±400 LF of 6” DR18 C900 PVC tank yard, supply, bypass, overflow, and drain piping and various water system appurtenances to accommodate the removal and reconfiguration of existing tank yard piping for four (4) existing fiberglass underground potable water storage tanks at the project site.
Sealed bids will be received at the Northwest Rural Water District Office until 11:00 a.m. local time on May 30, 2024. The bids will then be opened and read aloud at the Northwest Rural Water District Office.
All bids shall be submitted in accordance with and on the forms included in the Project Manual. Bids and all associated materials shall be supplied in a sealed envelope addressed to:

A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held on May 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. local time, beginning at the Northwest Rural Water District Office at 526 Stone Street in Cody, Wyoming. Bidders are REQUIRED to attend.
Contractors, in submitting their respective bids, acknowledge that such bids conform to all requirements of Wyoming State Statute. Each bidder must include a security with the bid, payable to the Northwest Rural Water District, in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.
No bidder may withdraw its bid after the scheduled time of the bid opening. Bids are to remain open for 60 days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities of any bid. The Owner also reserves the right to award the contract to such responsible bidders as may be determined by the Owner.
Preference shall be given to responsible Wyoming Contractors, Laborers and Materials as required by Wyoming Statutes. Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.
